Huge swings between the points focused teams (MER+FER+ANT) 📈 and the more budget focused options (with only one A-tier constructor) 📉 Those that went early for MER+FER+ANT took a big risk by locking themselves into a limited pool of backmarkers to choose from and only 3 options for 2x driver (ANT, HAM or LEC). If some of those limited options start performing poorly, they would be punished pretty heavily. Instead, the BEA DNF caused the opposite. 1. BEA is a relatively expensive backmarker and basically a must in any team that has budget to spend. If budget is tighter - as it is in the MER FER ANT teams - dropping and thus avoiding him was an option. 2. With more budget to spend on x2 driver, RUS was the better option on paper. And it looked good for a few laps: RUS had the better start, got ahead of ANT, got the priority on strategy, had the best odds of getting Fastest Lap in clean air at the front, … but the safety car came at the worst possible time for him which reversed the roles completely. The implications on #F1Fantasy are in the 80 to 120 point range. About the value of a well played x3 or Limitless chip. Which side were you on?
