Velocaption 3.9.0 is ready! 🎉 Also updated the website! velocaption.com/changelog/2026… I just did my interview - I think it went amazingly. I’ll now go for a walk in the sun and later tonight update screenshots and demos on velocaption.com. It is time to go to Tiny Launch.

Many people on my videos (and Antonio too👇) are telling me good things about Composer 2.5 on Cursor.
Have you tried it?
Antonio Subrizi@AJSubrizi
@did0f gia, prova composer 2.5 su cursor sono 3 giorni che lavora no stop ed ho usato il 16 percento del totale pero 72 ore di fila con il piano da 20 euro😅
English

@AJSubrizi Wow. Interessante. In effetti ho quasi finito la benzina su Codex. Fino al 31 a secco!
Va bene dai ci do un occhio. Mi servirà molto probabilmente. Grazie Antonio!

@Yamapama I am glad you have good memory of my country. As someone living here, it has pro and cons.
But yeah I think it objectively beautiful and good food and people. I like it

It went good. Now pranayama time

Happiness is your current situation minus your expectations. Got a call in 1h wish me luck 🍀
English

@blin2h Exactly! The surprising thing was it was actually fun! I even told to the interviewer guy “yo this is actually fun I should do it more” 😆
I won’t but it felt good
English

@did0f Wow that’s amazing! Sometimes I also put hands in the codebases that I wrote like 3 year ago without AI and it feels like home, like driving again in manual after weeks of automatic 🤣
It takes more time but it tingle parts of the brain that now are tingled by other activities 😭
English

@Yamapama Not far from where I live. Just some sort Italy country side

@creem_io @stemonteduro @lemonsqueezy Thank you!! I’m opening an account tomorrow. I tell you have 2 macOS apps ready for direct distribution!! 🫶
English

While waiting for @lemonsqueezy approval (no rush, I did it few hours ago and it’s Sunday ahah), I have instructed Codex to:
→ Do redact-faces.didof.dev (not perfect, but a landing spot for now is all I want)
→ App ready + full macOS native + license system + sparkle as auto-updater
→ Now learning about TestFlight
The coolest thing is that Codex also had me release an HUGE Velocaption release and now it’s already working on the next one.
And I did most of it from the phone, while being at the beach 😬🥴
I am lowkey scared to wake up and find out it is pre-AI era (from this point of view)

I did a tech challenge without AI after, what, 1 year of online AI usage for coding.
Surprisingly, I still remember vim motion and I feel I did good in the challenge. Of course I was a bit rusty but I clearly told the guy “do we need vs code? O right it’s gonna be fun 🤠”.
But in these kind of interview they care to see your reasoning, not syntax knowledge. They also use AI daily.
So all good. Now chilling with friends 🍻 felling good

In October 2025, I was convinced no one would ever read my posts on X.
I had no certainty.
No numbers.
No perfect strategy.
Just the desire to try, even though deep down I kept thinking:
“who the hell is even going to care?”
Today I reached 5 million views and finally got monetization enabled.
For some people, it might just be a number.
For me, it isn’t.
To me, it means that all those posts I wrote even when I didn’t feel like it, all those ideas I published while being scared of looking stupid, all those days when I wanted to quit… weren’t useless.
These are the first real dollars I can make online.
And even if it’s not a crazy amount, it means a lot to me.
It’s proof that something I built by myself can actually start working.
This post is for myself.
For the version of me who didn’t believe it back in October.
For the version of me who wanted to quit.
For the version of me who thought he wasn’t good enough.
Thank you to everyone I’ve met here so far.
To everyone who supported me, gave me advice, reposted me, corrected me, or even just read my posts.
And a special thank you to @emanueledpt.
Without you, I probably wouldn’t be here.
I don’t know where all of this will take me yet, but I’ve learned one thing:
You don’t need to have everything figured out to start.
You just need to start, stay consistent, and not disappear when it gets hard.
See you at the next million.
