Fantano has spent weeks talking non-stop about the credits dispute and disparaging Taylor, and then all of a sudden lands an interview with Olivia, which is by far the biggest of his career?
He's not a podcaster who interviews celebrities. He's a blogger who occasionally interviews Z listers. No A lister will go anywhere near him.
But Olivia is there today and "has been a really big fan of his for a while". This is so painfully shameless and gross.
I'm honestly floored.

im not suprised in the slightest. despite my love for the trilogy devs have showed that they're not brave enough when it comes to the things even outside Ltd, like political commentary, ecological problems. it's a bit out of the pocket to expect their commitment to only one ship.

this. Do people truly don't want to lose the sense of loss if they don't want Aerith to live? It just means those people are attached to Aerith’s death, not to the character itself. They love the tragedy for the story, not Aerith’s character 🤷♀️

He acts nonchalant and tough around tifa because he thinks it makes him look tough. With Aerith he never had that stigma so some of his true self comes out.
Nome of this shows a difference in care for the characters, but shows that his connections are different based on his experiences with them during his life.
He knew Tifa before the incident of his mind break, Aerith was only known during his mind. break.

Hamaguchi says he does not believe they have ever publicly stated it will be like that.
