@OnlyTerp Same here. Went through several sessions of workflow, more then 500 hundred USD in expected costs, 12% of the weekly usage.

Don't let these people scare you with this bs fearmongering. I used it personally for over an hr and only used 12% of my 5 hour usage 😭

@DavidKPiano Here it spinned 121 agents to do batches of 10 tasks each. It used millions of tokens, but just 20% of the hourly and 8% of the weekly limits. To me, it's a huge win.

First impression of Claude Opus 4.8: It spun up a single subagent and then waited for that subagent to finish ... what is even the point?

@jyothiwrites @ClaudeDevs You can use it both at 200k or 1m (image 1). Also, by your screenshot, it seems you have a lot of things being loaded into the session (skills, agents, memory, etc). Run "/context" and it will show exactly what is using the session tokens (image 2). Hope this helps!

I just started typing and already running out of context in the Opus 4.8. It is set at 200k which is what 4.5 was at, all the recent models have been at 1M context. Also getting error for asking why the context window is lower @ClaudeDevs has the context window reduced? how can I change it?
