@ahsanfaroqqui @sravytweets In India where APJ Abdul Kalam is highly respected and regarded you blame is for targeting muslims? Typical attitude: Accountability for nothing but ask for everything

**IMPORTANT** Dear Indian Diaspora, These kind of incidents are up in real world in North Texas. If it happens to you or anyone you know or in your vicinity - DO REPORT it to authorities. Have hate incident recorded on your side & give it to cops. Inaction emboldens bullies!!

India's largest-ever trade delegation is in Ottawa as negotiations are underway for a Canada-India free trade agreement But many Sikhs feel Ottawa is rewarding bad behaviour, as CSIS is still warning that India is one of the main perpetrators of foreign interference #cdnpoli

There is ZERO shortage of skilled workers in the USA. We have zero need to import anyone for any sector of the economy. It is all propaganda to bring in cheaper workers only. The only exception I would make is for the investor visa. Founders of new companies.

India should be able to appreciate every chapter of its history without feeling threatened by it. The Mughals left behind magnificent architecture, art, cuisine, language, and culture. The British left institutions, infrastructure, and the English language—which opened doors for millions, including me. I would not have achieved what I have without mastering English. A mature civilization acknowledges both the achievements and the mistakes of its past. Yet today, too much energy is spent hating what came before us instead of building on it. We should be grateful to the generations that laid the foundations we inherited, learn from history, and focus our attention on creating a better future. The future is full of opportunity. Let’s embrace it rather than remain trapped in endless battles over the past.

Seeing all of ⁦@marcorubio⁩’s photos from India makes me want to go back to India! I love India. Such a beautiful country. So glad our Secretary of State and his supermodel wife were able to visit India and meet many of the same people I met while I was there. 🇺🇸 🇮🇳

Holy shit, India is ranked 179 out of 180 countries in press freedom. Only North Korea is worse. And yet we call ourselves the world's largest democracy. If you can't ask questions, you're not a democracy. You're just a very large country with elections. #PressInIndia

When I point out the garbage on our streets, open defecation, corruption, deteriorating infrastructure, nepotism in institutions, or concerns about the rights of minorities, I get attacked. My question to my critics: Do you not think of India as your own home? If your house were dirty, neglected, or dysfunctional, would you attack the person pointing it out-or would you help fix the problem? Patriotism is not pretending problems don't exist. Patriotism is taking responsibility for solving them.

I congratulate President Donald Trump on his extraordinary efforts to pursue peace and for holding a very useful and productive telephone call earlier today, with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkiye, Egypt, the UAE, Jordan and Pakistan. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir represented Pakistan in the telephone call and I greatly appreciate his tireless efforts during the entire process. The discussions provided a useful opportunity to exchange views on the current regional situation and how to move the ongoing peace efforts forward to bring lasting peace in the region. Pakistan will continue its peace efforts with utmost sincerity and we hope to host the next round of talks very soon.

@sabeer sabeer we have problems in India for sure. but why dont you speak about corruption in your country which is wrapped as "lobbying" aka legalized corruption? billions of $ in bailouts which is a regular trend now. You are also a paid propogandist disguised as an Indian.

I just watched an interview with a former CIA employee who said he had visited 72 countries and disliked India the most because of the prevalence of open defecation. My view is that this is not primarily a poverty issue. It is a mindset issue. A society that becomes accustomed to such behavior gradually normalizes it, even when it affects public health, dignity, and the quality of shared spaces. What surprises me even more is how often people rush to justify the practice instead of demanding better standards. Progress begins when we stop making excuses and start taking collective responsibility. Clean homes are important. Clean streets are equally important.
