Across history, Arabia, Europe, Asia, marriage norms were tied to puberty, survival, and social structure, not the framework we have today. You can personally find it uncomfortable, but calling it a “moral abomination” assumes morality is fixed and timeless, which history simply doesn’t support. You effectively saying, all of human history at 1400 years ago was a moral abomination. You have to think of Islam as a model to be implemented on an era. The principles stay the same based on current cultural norms. If you do not understand how to evaluate history, and your only bias is to somehow prove Muhammad (pbuh) was wrong, you will never be able to intellectually debate it. But if your goal is to actually understand and have an intellectual debate, then we have to look at the real way to see historical cultures. You can disagree with all of it, you’re entitled to your opinion.

Well that’s the most celebrated argument as in the modern day era obviously that is considered illegal and rightfully so. 1400 years ago the rules and laws surrounding marriages was much different than right now and across all religions and cultures. I’ll suggest researching historical norms in that era. In the current era however, whoever claims it’s legal and allowed is incorrect even islamically. I hope that answers your question ❤️
