Pram mattresses need to be firm, flat and waterproof, just like cot mattresses. Even if your baby has moved past the carrycot stage and now sits up in a buggy, it’s important that there is still a lie-flat setting. Why? Sleeping in a sitting/sloped position can restrict breathing
