How species recolonize intermittent rivers, by dispersal or survival? Nera is analyzing DNA barcodes of aquatic and terrestrial macroinvertebrates from lotic and lentic phases of our studied rivers to find out! @hrzz_science

Exciting news! Fran and Zuzana have received support from HAZU for their projects! Fran is mastering the art of centipede identification, and Zuzana is investigating how environmental stressors impact invertebrate communities in intermittent, human-impacted rivers. Congrats!🥳
