@RW_SRILANKA backing the 21 Nov protest expecting SJB and Sajith to be there is ridiculous. UNP is a 5% party while SJB is the clear Opposition Party. UNP priority should be an alliance with SJB under SJB Leadership not working to a Rajapakse Agenda. UNP will soon lose the 5%

The Brown Sugar Retail Outlet inaugurated by Minister of Industries Sunil Handunneththi belongs to Lanka Sugar Co., which is one of the 10 SOEs with unpaid statutory payments (EPF, ETF, etc.) for which we taxpayers are forking out LKR 5 billion in 2026, and the remaining 6 billion later. In the private sector, directors of companies failing to make statutory payments go to jail. In SOEs, they get to inaugurate unviable retail outlets that undercut private sector retailers.

Silly move. UNP needs to focus on its abysmal popularity. Party that ruled Sri Lanka now gets just 5%. RW has many positives but learning from a man who by far is its worst political leader and whose stewardship caused this predicament is not the priority.
