There are a lot, and I mean a lot, of criticisms about The Odyssey that make me wonder what the hell movie people watched. And this isn't me up Nolan's ass, I haven't been over the moon about anything he has made since Interstellar

#TheOdysseyMovie deserves more consideration than I can possibly put here, immediately post-premiere... But wow. This feels like watershed filmmaking. Simultaneously the most Christopher Nolan movie ever while being completely different to anything he's done before. Simply epic.

@EdFriendly1 This is because the full review embargo had not lifted, only the one for social media reactions/impressions - I couldn't go into proper detail if I wanted to until today. And as a journalist, I respect the difference.

Notice how shill reviews sound like politicians. They very carefully avoid say anything: "Wow, this movie is so good I can't even tell you (so I don't have to tell you). It is simultaneously both one thing and its opposite (it's all the things!). It's simply epic (the most nothing of modern hype words)"

@MMBeckerman I'll admit I was a little nervous over the dialogue from the trailer, but it is completely fine in the context of the (full) film

@dinotaur @UniversalPics @odysseymovie That's very surprising because the trailers they put out for that film were just laughably bad - and made the film look absolutely terrible. Easily some of the very worst trailers to ever come out of Hollywood ("Dad" and "Let's gooo!" Seriously?)
