VictoriaMetrics v1.132.0 contains an optimized OpenTelemetry protocol parser, which is up to 6x faster than the previous one.
I don't like OpenTelemetry protocol for metrics because it is over-engineered and bloated, but it was fun optimizing the OTEL metrics' parser with the help of github.com/VictoriaMetric… package. I suspect the resulting parser is the fastest one for OTEL protocol for metrics.

Setting `domain` to the root is a security concern
If you host a third-party service on a subdomain, like status.example.com, you'll be sending your users' session cookies to that third party
If the third party gets attacked and their http logs are accessed, then the attacker can takeover your users' accounts
It's why NIST 800-63B includes this requirement for cookies:
> SHALL be accessible to the minimum practical set of hostnames and paths.

If you want `auth.site.com` to be your auth server and authenticate other subdomains like `app.site.com `, `your.site.com`... you don’t need to do anything fancy. You just need to enable cross-subdomain cookies to share cookies between them

VictoriaLogs has been moved to its own repository - github.com/VictoriaMetric…
Previously VictoriaLogs was co-hosted in VictoriaMetrics repo, and this was confusing for users, since VictoriaMetrics and VictoriaLogs have different release schedules.
