People wanting Classic+ to be evergreen might need to think again. They assume Classic+ will just eat up the whole classic playerbase. Most people don't wanna hear this but, Classic+ might have to be seasonal.

I know this is unpopular, but it will always be unattractive for a grown man to play video games. Some women might be understanding or pretend like they don’t care that you spend hours playing, but they do. It is extremely unattractive to women and will never not be. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Does anyone else find it funny that majority of raids on TBC are HR? (Hard Reserves) Doesn’t that notion go against the core values of what makes an MMORPG? Denying people loot? Denying them an interactive social experience. GDKP acts as the ultimate equalizer by acting as a checks and balancing apparatus for greedy raid leaders wanting to HR everything. HRing loot should’ve been banned before banning GDKP, but Disney adults @FwoiblesWoW and @AggrendWoW don’t understand that because they hosted many HRs last year during season of discovery. Loot for thee but not for me!

Classic realms now and in the future would be more healthy if kept away from the megaserver concept and then also blocked any possible realm transfers.

@JabbaTheClown @icyveins No it's not impossible, friend. But you are assuming Blizzard 2026 will develop content that's better than Blizzard 2004.

PFF no its not at all. Look at how ESO handled it wow can do same. Level cap of 60 and then you just introduce content that gives gear sets. BUT you can't make gear sets increasingly stronger or you have the same problem again. You just make gear sets that first off all look cool, And are useful for different situations. ESO did this and they have endless content because of it. The core of their combat is just bad so it sucks. But that idea is great. You can also make a super crazy long secondary leveling system like eso champion points. That just give very minor conviences or small stats and where it would take years to level up fully. Thus, classic plus is not impossible at all. They should have done this from the start. Making all gear from previous expansions obsolete is not a fun system. Because then you have no reason anymore to visit older parts of the game. Every expansion is just those 4 zones not the WORLD of Warcraft.

If you actually look at TBC greens, most of them look like GARBAGE—it was famous for being an expansion where you just looked like a clown all the time while leveling

@WallyPaulnuts69 @icyveins I agree. Seasonal content and/or realms seems like the most logical route. You can't just assume Classic+ will be evergreen and eat up the whole Classic playerbase by default.

@dippabtw @icyveins I would temper your expectations. It's very likely to be a seasonal / rotating game mode like Titan WOW (in China) with monetization and gearing similar to retail. I don't see them releasing a parallel version of WOW unless it's monetized as heavily as retail.

People are nostalgic for a WoW that never existed. You can make arguments about WC 1 & 2 all you want but WoW itself was never “dark and gorey”. It’s not Diablo and never has been. Yes there have been darker elements in WoW but not the way people seem to remember
