We know that loud and busy emergency departments are not the best place for people dealing with a serious mental health crisis or drug and alcohol issues. That’s why we’re taking to the election our plan to build the first-ever specialised Mental Health Assessment Units alongside three of our busiest emergency departments. It comes as we open the third 24-bed mental health unit - this one opening at Modbury Hospital. Combined with the other two already opened at the Queen Elizabeth and Noarlunga hospitals, there will be an extra 72 dedicated mental health rehabilitation beds for South Australians.

They will empty at the same time. The rate of flow (and thus how fast the tanks empty) depends only on the height of the water column above the outlet, not on the shape or total volume of the container. Since both have the same height and outlet size, they’ll drain at the same rate.

.@AlexanderDowner fundamentally misunderstands the connection between Hydrogen & Green Iron production. It’s not about generating electricity with Hydrogen to run an Electric Arc Furnace. Hydrogen acts as a reductant in a chemical process through Direct Iron Reduction ( Fe3O4 + 4H2= 3Fe + 4H2O). It replaces coking coal. That’s how CO2 emissions are reduced. Three months ago, hundreds of SA’s medical students wrote to Minister @PictonChris asking the Govt to fund an important tool in the battle with depression.
This has been their own expert committee’s advice, the PPTP, for years.
We have not received a response.

Today our petition from 185 SA medical students was tabled calling on Minister @PictonChris to deliver a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation service to the public system. Doing so will save lives. Huge thanks to @TammyMLC for her years long advocacy on this issue. #saparli
