Tbh, that's part of why I joined @mehrrajputUGC 's amazing AHA program, because I missed having someone on my back a little bit😭 Now that I'm out of the program, I’m learning to figure out how to build a structure for myself without turning my life into another burnout cycle🥰

Ngl being a “gifted kid” made me way too comfortable functioning inside other people’s structure😭 School always gave me something to work toward like deadlines, feedback, routines. Then adulthood hit and then nobody was holding my hand anymore. #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

But brands started caring more about creators who could actually connect with people online. Tbh, UGC snapped me out of the “wait for permission” mindset and pushed me to just start creating. Storytelling moves way faster than institutions do🤷‍♀️ #ugccreator #ugccommunity

Guess who finally finished her intro video edit after avoiding it for way too long? 🙋🏽‍♀️ Turns out the reason I kept procrastinating was because the last section felt so daunting. I didn’t know what I needed, so my brain just kept putting it off lol. Ngl I was having the same issue with the editing of mine I was so used to dramatic edits for personal videos, the idea of making a simple intro talking about myself felt dull cuz I thought I was dull in general. Changing my mindset helped me realize the value of my POV & intro

Idk if this is just me but if a brand is asking me to lie about my age for a script/brief I won’t do it..🙅‍♀️ I don’t think that’s a morally right thing to do. What I would do is kindly suggest a change in the script to reflect the age I am so I’m not saying I’m 10 years older or younger than I really am. I just can’t lie like that. I get some people just want to get the bag but I don’t feel like compromising my morals and going against FTC guidelines for false advertising..
