Ordinals will never die. But if your entire thesis is being "early" and someone coming to buy your bags for multiples higher through sudden discovery of provenance and on-chain art, it might not end well. Consider yourself the end target audience, not an intermediary. Buy if you want to join communities, bet on a team, or like the art/artist enough to not care about the next sale price.

many people have asked me why i think it’s time to kill ordinals. i’ll explain: 1. they’re already dead. so it’s an easy win 2. ordinals bootstrapped runes. that alone should be punishable by death 3. millions of children in el salvador die of starvation every month because blocks are too full with ordinals and the children can’t squeeze a transaction in to buy a happy meal 4. nfts are down horrendous, we need to lend a hand and help focus all liquidity on ethereum to save digital art 5. if we kill ordinals we kill pizza ninjas. obviously worth it 6. ordinals destroyed bitcoin culture. bitcoiners used to discuss intellectual things and now they cry about jpegs all day. we have to save their mental well being 7. the bitcoin utxo set can BARELY fit on a 8gb usb stick that cost $30 in 2006. this is clearly a very serious problem that limits bitcoin’s growth and may result in more dead children in el salvador if it’s not handled soon 8. nick szabo says ordinals might kill bitcoin. and he’s maybe satoshi! 9. did i mention killing pizza ninjas already? it’s a really good reason 10. i gave you 10 reason to kill ordinals, you can’t even come up with 3 reasons not to kill them. pretty clear what needs to be done

Ordinals Strategy: The Bitcoin Way Unless you've been living under a rock, you know strategy tokens have been the talk of the town. Tomorrow, one of the first legit and well designed ones is launching with @ndestrategy. Best of luck to them! Thanks to the well known team, trust is less of an issue. But executing the strategy still involves a lot of people and a lot of manual steps for trading assets and managing the LP. Over the past few days, I've been brainstorming with @benny_options (founder of @radfi_btc) on what a trust-minimized Ordinals strategy could look like on Bitcoin L1. The answers lie in a feature rich multisig setup with timelocked contingency spend paths. And a clear path to automation. So, I started working on such a setup, codename "The Playbook". @NOTonBTC not again

Most of you know me from @AeonsBTC, a project built to explore art together, support artists, and keep pushing that culture forward. But there’s another side to me that hasn’t been as visible. I’ve always liked experimenting and creating things that don’t quite fit anywhere. @NOTonBTC is one of those experiments, that began when I was stuck at home with a bad back, doodling on an old tablet. Out of that came 190 drawings I called “mistakes.” NOT isn’t about clean definitions or utility. It’s about testing ideas, mocking them, and seeing where they lead. I usually explore ideas and emotions through music, but this time it came out as drawings. What makes NOT a bit different is that it doesn’t chase perfection. It leans into the flaws, turns them into jokes, and treats them as the whole point. It’s art that refuses to take itself too seriously and in doing so, makes space for something freer, stranger, and maybe a little more honest. I hope the space takes as much fun noticing them as I do creating them. Let's see how far a so-called “mistake” can go. The next drop is another step. Not planned. Not polished. Just… not again.
