Russell 2000 stocks above their 200 day moving average is back on trend. We'll see if this means another bounce next week.

The MACD indicator has flattened out, suggesting US Oil is in the process of topping or has topped this week.
If you look at the chart below, prior to past stock market corrections we've seen a two week rebound in oil before the 2nd leg down begins.
Will this time be different?

Everyone still doesn't understand... The real reason oil is falling is the economic destruction unleashed on the global economy during the oil spike to $120. Jan 2020, oil began collapsing after a spike. 60 days later the market crashed. July 2008, oil began collapsing after a spike. 60 days later the market crashed. 18 May 2026, oil began collapsing after a spike. 60 days later is July 20th. A two week bounce in oil is exactly what happened in Feb 2020 right before the stock market flash crashed.

Nasdaq $NDX broke the wedge today but it didn't violate the parabolic. Very strange.
Is this suggesting a bounce next week?
If so, that would be the perfect bull trap.

The Nasdaq 100 just finished off June with a massive monthly red Dragonfly candlestick. The last time we saw a similar monthly pattern was Dec 2021, with markets beginning to fall apart on Tuesday Jan 4th, 2022. The bear market lasted for exactly 12 months, bottoming in Jan 2023. Unlike 2023, this time a market correction won't be returning to the parabolic, it will be breaking it.

Yesterday, when we posted this: Polymarket hadn't even priced Russell Fry — the entire narrative was Nancy Mace. We flagged Fry as the dark horse in a primary decided by Trump's endorsement, and faded Mace.
Today on Polymarket: Fry ~60% favorite. Mace 0.1%.
Not resolved until Trump endorses — it grades then, win or lose, on the public ledger. But the read's aging fast.

Everyone's coalescing around Nancy Mace for Lindsey Graham's SC Senate seat. I don't think she's the pick. Trump said this morning he already has one — "somebody I think would be great." In a 4-week special primary his endorsement decides it, and his logic is loyal AND winnable, not the loudest campaign: → Pamela Evette — Lt. Gov, Trump-endorsed before, McMaster's likely appointee. The lead. → Russell Fry — Trump-endorsed, beat an impeacher. The dark horse nobody's naming. → Not Mace. Not Burns. Here's the tell that this is genuinely early: Kalshi and Polymarket don't even have a live line on his replacement yet. No price. No crowd. Dated on the @EventHorizonIQ ledger before the betting markets exist — that's what "upstream" actually means.
