𝐈𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐎𝐰𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬: 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐃𝐏 In this video, selected regional champions .@_Hadassahj_, .@anena_peace, .@vanillabae38955, and .@edwinnaka4586 from the east, north and central regions of Uganda, share their voices, experiences, and hopes, after a transformative training hosted by The Disability Lane, under the InclusiTalk program team. They share their standout Articles from Art. 5 to Art. 19 of the African Disability Protocol, how digital skilling enabled them to know what to post, what to advocate for on different social media platforms and how they gained a deeper understanding of accessibility, reasonable accomodation and the importance of digital advocacy. With support from the Disability Justice Fund for Women by ADD International, this project built digital advocacy skills and deepened understanding of the African Disability Protocol (ADP) and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) among 22 young women with disabilities from the four regions of the country. #DisabilityJustice #ClaimingOurRightsADP #CRPDForAll #DigitalInclusion
