Earlier this morning Janey passed away in her sleep. Her family were with her.
The love and support from all her friends and fans during this cancer journey brought her enormous joy. It has also been a huge comfort to us, her family and close friends, thank you.

@alisoneight @IanDunt I’m sorry, that must be awful 😞 Not everyone is capable of rushing or moving at speed, and I find it hard to believe that in 2024 this is still an issue. The crowd of people you then encounter at the platform barrier must be pretty scary for anyone with a disability.

@RichardHav56426 @IanDunt Yes, I have had that rather lovely experience in various European countries. How do they manage to ensure the trains are cleaned before passengers board when we can’t manage it?

@discodejenerate @IanDunt It’s strange that UK rail stations seem neither to know when their trains will arrive, nor the platform where they will be found. In Switzerland & Germany, they know the usual location months, sometimes years, in advance, stick to it mostly, and publish it well in advance.
