Really hard one this. Almost impossible to sell him. I'd offload for a couple of £m if possible but it seems so unlikely. Playing him more increases what we pay for him.

And get him the same psychologist that Pickford spoke to. Worked wonders for Jordan.

There’s a player in there somewhere. We need to renegotiate that deal with Spurs and give him a go in that free role behind the striker in a 4411, similar to how Doucoure has been played under Dyche.

Clearly hits the chest and the on field decision was goal. Unless I find another angle that shows it hits the right arm then that’s a ridiculous decision yet again from VAR. #EVEBRE

@TacticallyMatt There’s a lot of negativity this week but I’m quietly confident we’re creating enough chances to avoid relegation despite lacking an obvious goalscorer in the team. It’s rare that teams consistently underperform these stats for too long (unless you’re Brighton).

Against Leeds, Everton managed their highest Premier League xG of the season. In the next game, against Aston Villa, Everton broke that once again, recording their highest xG of the season. Everton have achieved an xG of higher than 2.0, 3 times this season. 2/3 under Dyche.

My best guess is he’s out for a while but they’re reluctant to admit this as it shines a light on the board’s (and Thelwell’s) incompetence in not signing a striker in January

The DCL injury situation is very strange. All the communication surrounding it has been vague and he always seems to be close to returning but never quite there. Why wouldn’t there at least be a timeframe on his recovery?

DCL out for this weekend but Onana fit and ready. Imagine it’ll be the same lineup as Leeds.
