@billprady That happens on my TV every couple of weeks or so. Someone’s laptop tries to connect to my Apple TV. My screen gives me a code to accept the connection, which I never do. And that’s the end of the interaction. Nothing sinister at all.

Boy genius, @Elonmusk, has verified Jamal Khashoggi's Twitter account, claiming "This account is verified because they are subscribed to Twitter Blue and verified their phone number." The Saudis murdered Khashoggi in 2018.

@austintichenor I got to see Dame Edna on stage a half dozen times. On one memorable occasion, I got to take a bow on a West End stage with Dame Edna and the cast of her show. That was a life moment.

BREAKING: Lauren Boebert’s attempt to troll Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg just FAILED SPECTACULARLY.
Boebert posted an image of herself holding a firehose with the caption, “Preparing for (Pete Buttigeg’s) next derailment!”
Secretary Pete had the best response:
“Your budget plan cuts railroad safety inspections.”
He then explained:
“We estimate its impact on FRA would mean about 1,000 fewer rail safety inspection days next year and 30,000 fewer miles of track inspected annually.
If you care about preventing derailments, please change course and help us increase accountability for freight railroads.”
I don’t know WHAT Lauren Boebert was thinking, but in a battle of wits, my money is on Pete Buttigieg!

Dr. Yusef Salaam, who was wrongly convicted as a member of the Central Park Five, young men who were convicted of a brutal attack on a jogger and then exonerated after 7 years in prison, issued a one word statement about the indictment of Donald Trump: "KARMA." Donald Trump had infamously taken out a full-page ad in 1989, calling for the death penalty for the five young men who were coerced by police into confessing to crimes they didn't commit. Long after they were exonerated and released from prison, Trump refused to apologize for his stance. Karma, indeed.
