@timClicks No questions at this time, but I want to acknowledge and thank for your commitment to the customer (in this case the community). Up until this moment, there have been questions in a wide variety of use cases, and I believe you have adequately made the respondents feel heard.

I have much more respect for AWS after starting working for them. The work that happens here is staggering. Let me know if you have any questions.

@b0rk @b0rk maybe an odd/Google able question, but what's the difference between an A and an AAAA record?

if your domain supports IPv6 -- why do you support it? what's the benefit? i'm curious because I noticed that some big domains (like twitter.com for example) don't have AAAA records

@kvlly Would you like a reference of where to go to upskill. I know of a great free online book that presents the data in a digestible manner, but do not want to intrude of I misread the intent of the tweet

There's a moment in every developer's career where they realize they're just not good at something. I honestly like it. It provides direction for where I need to focus my efforts. In my case, I'm really good at CSS, but I still have so much to learn when it comes to JavaScript.

@Sajma @atc0005 Nice, thanks for taking the time to share that. Ohhh, passing context could be used to cancel the retryDelay. I guess I figured the caller would set an appropriate Delay. Since higher level calls tell lower level calls, that timeout could be set higher in the call stack.

@_rsc My best guess is complacency. An analogy is when teams with SPA applications disable cors mode (eg * policy) for development because it's convenient.

Gotta love this. Claims AES-256. Uses AES-128. In ECB mode! (And sends copies of keys to servers in China.) How do you “accidentally” use ECB mode in 2020!? theintercept.com/2020/04/03/zoo…

I’m honestly struggling to understand how Zoom could be this bad accidentally. We have to use it for my kids schools and need the native app for Brady Bunch mode, but we installed it on a sacrificial laptop. Not sure how to get if off when this is all over.

Lens' with Maybes can be a royal pain when the data has been stable for awhile, and do not give valuable error information like parsers do. While easy to use, they are easy to abuse leave you wondering "Well, data isn't there, but I don't know why."

"When do I parse and when do I use a lens if I'm in a dynamic language?" Parse: Data doesn't change often and not too deeply nested. Lens: Data changes a lot and/or is deeply nested.

@rakyll When I see "on" I think of "atop", so without the additional context my first inclination was that your "chair" was the computer, then my secondary thought processes moved to designing them.
