If you live in the west and are in a poly relationship you more than likely at some point were mono oriented. To suggest that a person canโt comprehend or see the value in poly bc they were once mono seems shortsighted. Given the state of the culture, itโs natural and encouraging to see people interested in alternatives to open up their dating pool. Traditional poly culture is about community.
