@dhaikilokatweet It is a good book. It does not need to be interpreted as religious dilution or as Shiva being portrayed as a tribal leader. It could just as well be a powerful story that borrows religious characters and uses them in a human setting.

In Costco and especially Indian grocery stores, the whole family comes to shop and the kids are bumping into everything, they leave cart in the middle of aisle etc. Very disruptive.

Just got in tonight from a late night Coles shop. Honestly, why on earth do Indians bring their entire extended family to do grocery shopping?! Grandparents, parents, kids, uncles the lot. All jabbering away in incomprehensible Hindi on full volume, two of the males on loud speakerphone phone calls at the same time, kids running amok and blocking aisles with their revolting selection in their shopping trolleys. I caught eyes with a fellow Anglo who was shaking his head in disbelief. In a moment of Anglo telepathy, nothing more needed to be said, we just shared a moment of mutual horror and gave a small nod of understanding. Indians genuinely are affecting our quality of life every single day, and not just with material big things like housing, schools, services etc, but the qualitative little things in everyday life. They literally ruin every public space they enter and every experience we have to share with them. I am so fatigued it is beyond belief.

@GauravPandhi Your comparison doesn't have much value. Virat played T20I and IPL at the expense of ODI. So if you want to compare them fairly: ODI+T20I: VK 18985, ST 18436 ODI+T20I+IPL: VK 27585, ST 20670 So practically VK has surpassed ST despite playing the shortest format.

Sachin Tendulkar became the highest run-scorer (career) in ODI cricket in 2000. 25 years later he still holds that record, even 13 years after retiring from the game. The next 25–30 players on the all-time ODI run list, almost all of them have already retired. Only Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma from that group are still actively playing international cricket today. Virat Kohli, currently at second place, is still around 3629 runs behind Sachin, making the record extremely difficult to break. Rohit Sharma, with 11,577 runs, trails Tendulkar by nearly 6,849 runs.

In the Netflix documentary ‘Modern Masters’, there is a moment many people seem to have forgotten. Rajamouli speaks about Sanatana Dharma and explains that there are four traditional paths to reach the divine! Gnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, and Raja Yoga. He believes that he is a Karma Yogi, and for him, work itself is worship. Anyone who truly understands Sanatana philosophy would never question a man like @ssrajamouli. At the event yesterday, he did not mock God or insult anyone’s belief. He spoke with the innocence of a child who was excited to share something and was momentarily disappointed due to a technical glitch. His first reaction to it was emotional and it was a very human moment. If one genuinely follows the spirit of Sanatana Dharma, they would recognize that it was an honest, vulnerable human expression!! not disrespect. Rajamouli garu, has always shown deep respect for Indian epics, culture, and spiritual imagery. He is a sincere, and honest man with no harmful agenda towards anyone. May Lord Hanuman continue to protect him from unjust abuse and needless hate.🙏🏻
