FAO के सहयोग से दुनिया ने Millets की शक्ति को नए रूप में पहचाना है। भारत में किसान इसकी खेती के माध्यम से Nutrition की चिंता करने के साथ ही Environment की सबसे बड़ी सेवा कर रहे हैं।

भारत Food-Surplus Nation होने के साथ-साथ वैश्विक Food Security में भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दे रहा है। हमारे लिए Food Security केवल एक Policy Matter नहीं, बल्कि यह मानवता के प्रति हमारी जिम्मेदारी भी है।

भारत में कृषि जीवन की मूल धारा और हमारी संस्कृति का अभिन्न अंग है। हम सिर्फ Production बढ़ाने के लिए ही नहीं, बल्कि एक ऐसा Farming Ecosystem बनाने के लिए भी काम कर रहे हैं, जो Sustainable भी हो, Climate-Resilient भी हो और Future-Ready भी हो।

આજે અમારી લગ્નની 25 મી વર્ષગાંઠ.... ત્યારે મારા જીવનમાં આવતા તમામ ઉતાર – ચઢાવ, સુખ દુઃખ, મુશ્કેલીમા મારી જીવનસંગીની હરહમેશ મારી સાથે રહી અને" સુખ મા પાછળ અને દુઃખ મા આગળ રહી છે. હુ ભગવાન અને મારા સ્નેહીજનો નો આભારી છુ કે આવા પાત્ર નો હાથ મારા હાથમાં સોપ્યો. હાથ તો મે પકડયો છે પણ સાથ મારા ધર્મ પત્ની એ નિભાવ્યો છે, ત્યારે મારા જીવન માં આવવા બદલ મારી જીવનસંગીની, મારી પ્રેરણા, મારી સુખ–દુખ ની સાથી, તારો ખુબ ખુબ આભાર ત્યારે મારી જિંદગી ની હમસફર,જીવનસાથી ને લગ્ન દિવસ ની ખુબ ખુબ શુભેચ્છાઓ.

Concluding a very productive visit to Italy. My discussions with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni covered a wide range of sectors. A key outcome of the visit was our decision to elevate India-Italy ties to a Special Strategic Partnership, which will add new momentum to our cooperation in the years to come. It is with great humility that I accepted the FAO Agricola Medal at a ceremony in the FAO Headquarters in Rome. My gratitude to the FAO. I dedicate this honour to India’s Annadatas…our food providers. It is a recognition of the hard work of our farmers, those associated with the world of livestock and fisheries, our agriculture scientists and innovators. Today, the nature of agriculture in India is evolving rapidly. In addition to being a food-surplus nation, India plays an important role in global food security. The country leads the world in milk and spice production and is also among the pioneering nations in the production of rice, wheat, fruits, vegetables, and cotton. India's agricultural exports have grown significantly, rising from $35 billion in 2020 to over $51 billion last year. - PM @narendramodi

We believe that the future of farming is not solely about "Producing More," but about "Producing Better." Guided by this vision, we are focusing on enhancing biodiversity and reducing reliance on chemical fertilizers. India’s experience demonstrates to the world that scale and sustainability can go hand in hand. Glad to meet Mr. Igor Babushkin, Governor of Russia’s Astrakhan Region, through a virtual interaction today. We discussed strengthening Gujarat–Astrakhan cooperation in trade, education, shipbuilding, transport & logistics, maritime connectivity and cultural exchange. The discussions also reflected our commitment to further advance the partnership initiated under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi during his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat.
