I'm supremely proud of that Toronto Raptors effort. The role players stepped up huge. I wouldn't feel good about that win if I were Cleveland. It's a game they had to have. It came down to the wire.

honestly this is a good effort by the raptors even if they are gonna get inevitably washed by the celtics in the end. this is their level. if they were this locked in against the kings they wouldn't need this win so bad.

As far as I’m concerned, this is the only real way to stop MORE teams from tanking.

The other solution to tanking is undoing the flattening of lottery odds to what it was before. There will still be a group of teams that still tank/lose but it’ll be less than it is now because fewer teams will think they have a chance + reduces how long a team is bad.

@WalderSports I would say this is too early to make the comparison to the Bulls. Let’s see how they navigate the summer. Is there piece that puts them over the edge. Don’t think so, but there can be upward growth potential with trading RJ’s expiring bringing back depth and fit. Plus the draft.

Scottie Barnes could have been Defensive Player of the Year if Victor Wembanyama didn't exist. Brandon Ingram was the pure scorer he needed by his side. But surrounding that, there isn't much to be a top dog in an East that's vastly improved.

The current makeup of the Toronto Raptors feels like it's on a trajectory similar to the Chicago Bulls' over the last four years. They'll hover around the .500 mark, even reaching 45-48 wins. But they're in the middle. No high upside. Not as constructed. They're good. Just good.
