He’s still the silkiest and best connecting English player. Sancho is by far the biggest misprofiled player I can think of in recent memory. Even recently scholes said he wasn’t sure what he’s good at because he couldn’t highlight him being amazing at 1 v 1s or that quick as if those are the barometers when you can still be phenomenal without those things. Sancho has never been an isolated 1 v 1 demon. He’s been a world class combination player for years. Get him connecting with players near and around him in and around the box and he will find gaps. Beautiful technician and cool as ice. Never slack with his touches. Second half of the season, I think you’ll see Sancho be one of the best in the league as long as his minds on it.
