To be more clear: they’re protesting the NYT “reporting” things that didn’t happen. There’s almost certainly prisoner abuse in Israeli prisons, as there is in prisons in other democratic countries. But dog rape isn’t a thing. And the evidence presented is weak and unconfirmed at best.

This is absolutely horrific, there’s no such wars that aren’t horrific & totally preventable but clearer minds don’t prevail. This decades old if not centuries old conflict was only going to end one way, one wiping the other out. No surrounding regions would take in Palestinians the same as no nations would take in Jews after the Holocaust except America. Why? Because this conflict is more complicated than Israel existing. Imperial British financial empire needed the Middle East destabilized. Had Hamas overwhelmed & conquered Israel on Oct 7th would they allow the Israeli’s especially Jews to survive?
