@mrsfaz16 When I had pneumonia my chest X-ray was clean they had to do a ct scan later to find it. When they did they found I had a sinus infection to top it off really made me think how close I came to what happened to him

I’ve had pneumonia a few times; the chest wracking cough, fever, wheezing is not to be ignored. I’m wondering why Sam didn’t force Kyle to go to the doctor. I hate to say it, but a chest x-ray 2 or 3 days prior, may have had a different outcome for Kyle. #sad

A tragic reminder of how fragile our world really is. This sickness likely seemed like a normal cold/bronchitis to all parties (even doctors) until it was too late. As an athlete, his condition likely worsened more than normal as he continued to push through and perform at his normal level, continue racing and training until just a few hours before.
Preventable? Yes, but not reasonably. There are just some cases where normal life just doesn’t allow for extra caution.

"Buying lunch out every day was never affordable" Bitch just 15 years ago $5 worth of fast food could feed you for an entire workweek. That's less than 1 hour of minimum wage pay by the way! Boomers are desperate for us to forget that at one point fast food was price competitive with cooking at home. In fact this strat right here likely came in under the per-meal cost of anything you could make at home for the same amount of calories and fillingness. Remember, these used to be bigger, they have shrinkflated in addition to becoming more expensive.
