I heard my old friend Antonio Daniels say something recently that stuck with me…
“Invisible work will always become visible.”
That hit home.
Antonio was at Bowling Green State University while I was at Bowling Green High School, and as a 16-year-old kid, I got a front row seat to how he worked up close.
Early mornings at Anderson Arena...late nights at the outdoor courts.
He didn’t just talk about work...he lived it. And that left a mark on me.
So it was pretty cool hearing him talk about Gilbert Arenas and recognizing the same thing...seeing the work his teammate put in behind the scenes.
That’s the stuff that separates people.
I carry that mindset and discipline with me today because of Antonio and the example he set.
Grateful for people who show you what it looks like...not just tell you.

When you feel lost, return to your purpose.
When life gets overwhelming, I periodically will make it a point to drive two hours back to my hometown and just sit on my mom’s couch. There’s something grounding about it. Moms have a way of offering the kind of clarity and honesty we don’t always get anywhere else—‘momma knows best’ isn’t just a saying.
Those moments remind me how far I’ve come, but more importantly, they reconnect me to why I started in the first place - the passion to help, to serve, and the excitement I once had about what the future could hold.
In today’s fast-moving world, it’s easy to lose sight of that. Whether it’s your career, your business, or a personal project, if you feel yourself drifting… go back to that original, unfiltered place of purpose. That’s where everything real begins.

Man the way these players talk about their coach…that’s a real leader. In modern sports, where everything feels so transactional, it’s amazing to know there are coaches out there that genuinely care.
We all need someone in our lives that is willing to pour into us and tell us that we are worthy.
How are you showing up as a leader for your teams and people at work? Can we all take some inspiration from this in how we interact and show up this week?

The foundation of Limitless Minds really is the pioneering work of our late friend and co-founder Trevor Moawad 🧠
The concepts you often hear us talk or post about like: “Neutral Thinking”, “It Takes What It Takes” “Negativity Diet” (and others), are all actual mindset tools that he used with real world athletes, programs, and organizations. Some of the highest performers in the history of sports were directly impacted by Trevor. He truly was 1 of 1.
You can learn about our company and the values we were built on at LimitlessMinds.com 📲
And if you’re interested in hearing more from Trevor go read his book “It Takes What It Takes” 📖

What an amazing time in Chicago with the Amgen Bone team!!!
Thank you to McCay Manwaring and Nick Conell for the opportunity to spend time with your team and partner alongside such an outstanding group! The energy in the room was real. You could feel the belief they have in one another and the pride they take in being part of a true ONE team mission🔥.
What stood out most was the mindset of the group. This team understands something powerful…you don’t have to be sick to get better💪🏾. There was a genuine commitment to improvement, growth and continuing to raise the standard together.
At one point Joshua Lifrak talked about the idea that “even the beast can get beastier,” and you could see the room nodding along. That mentality of always finding another level is what separates strong teams from great ones.
Thanks again for the opportunity to be part of the conversation. It was inspiring to see a team that is so clearly committed to getting better together.
Also thank you to Kindle Communications and Washington Speakers Bureau for your work and partnership with this meeting!!!
The best is ahead!….DJ
