My landing page used to just show screenshots mockups. Now you can actually mess with it — vote on posts, drag cards on the roadmap, watch an AI agent triage feedback in a live terminal demo. Stop reading about the product, go poke it: featurewish.com #buildinpublic #saas

@MarkoCirix Glad you are talking about it. I had the same feeling and dilemma, decided on B. I have no ambition of monetising on X, goal is to get quality connection who could potential be the right fit for my product some day or vice versa.

I’ve made a decision today that’s been bothering me for weeks… There are two roads in front of me: A) Follow impressions and engagement metrics, push as much as I can my time on X, and get monetized later on. This will imply following trends and regurgitating the same dumb questions in my timeline like you see on other people… B) Don’t worry about metrics, engage just enough to bounce or get every heartfelt post giving my insight. If somehow means sharing my journey because I do love connecting with more people and seeing why bother with bots. In one, I’ll be a puppet farming my content, monetizing yes but basically I’ll be an hourly employee …and if X one day decides to shut me down then I’ll lose everything.. In the other, it would be me showing my journey without the stress to foster growth, bad impressions, and fake engagement and if when X shuts me down I still have my connection in other platforms. In one, I’m the product. In the other, a consumer and producer. I’ll choose the latter.

@Guronnimo True, and marketing, and keep on marketing until 1 of 2 things are clear, users love it or product is crap. Scrapping a project before getting it in front of enough ICP eyeballs is a crime !

The hardest part of building isn't launching. It's continuing when nobody is watching. Agree?

1000 posts on X. I started posting consistently 2 months ago and since then, I've gotten 1M impressions, 1.4k connections, discourse with builders I highly respect, and dozens of sign ups for my SaaS. It is truly an incredible platform. Never stop posting.

Big day for LaunchUp 🚀 We just launched on Product Hunt! Building this has been an amazing journey, and I’m excited to finally share it with more founders and builders. If you have a minute, I’d love your support on the launch ❤️ 👇 producthunt.com/products/launc…

@anuj_shashimal Thanks , only X so far and not much to be honest. Need to promote better in other platforms etc. I have also changed the messaging to suit the right ICP, also wrote a thread about the idea behind it :)

Airbnb’s founders sold cereal boxes just to keep the company alive. You don’t have to look impressive.

If that's you — you've got paying users asking for a dozen different things and no clean way to rank them — that's who I'm building for now. Lesson for me: a tool solving a problem people don't have yet isn't a pricing problem or a marketing problem. It's an ICP problem. Fix that first.

So I got the ICP wrong. FeatureWish isn't for day-one founders. It's for the moment your feedback outgrows your memory. Repositioning around that. Different messaging, different buyer — the one who's actually drowning in requests, not the one who might be someday.
