@greta Both of my daughters and their husbands bought their houses when they were in their 30s. Of course, that was several years ago. They are now in their early 40s. They each have two children and are stay at home moms. We live in Texas which may help somewhat.

@TrevDon I had just voted in a local school board election and was stopped by a Dallas reporter who asked for my thoughts. Since I was a teacher in the district, I gave a somewhat generic answer, but it made the news anyway.

@TrevDon I raised my children in the ‘80s. Not only did we have that, I still have it!

If you grew up in the ‘70s or ‘80s, there’s an 80% chance this was in your living room.

@ThomasSowell I’m a retired teacher (32 years) and I can’t think of anything they did that helped, so yes, I am glad to see it gone. Use that money to hire more teachers so class sizes can be smaller.
