@Shunkup @geology_johnson It’s difficult to see from photos, but it looks to me that the ‘body’ outline is an artefact of where has been exposed, and you’re seeing only part of a bigger animal. Could it be a partially exposed eldoniid?

#FossilFriday Help! What is this Early Cambrian fossil from Guanshan biota? I observe it's body is two parts with a posterior segmented tail just like a Vetulicolia, and it's anterior is segmented like an annelid worm. Perhaps: 1. Chimera, 2. Degraded vetulicolia, 3. New animal??
