. @BhagwantMann ji, political satire is acceptable when it suits your narrative. But when an independent journalist asks questions or analyzes political reports, suddenly FIRs are filed and families are allegedly pressured through police action. @Rattan1990 analyzed a report and spoke about the possibility of some MLAs losing tickets. Since when did political analysis become a crime in a democracy? This selective freedom of speech is hypocrisy at its peak. You once built your politics by questioning governments in Parliament. Today, your government seems uncomfortable with questions itself. When so many channels speak in your favour daily, why does one independent voice questioning you bother you so much that FIRs become the response? #punjab

This is the house of punjabi journalist @Rattan1990. Police of @BhagwantMann repeatedly visiting his house at Rampura Phul. His family said that @PunjabPoliceInd is harassing them & wants to arrest Rattan, but Police is refusing to reveal the case or complaint against him. This is the reality of press freedom in Punjab,where @bhagwantMann Govt is targeting every journalist & activist who refuses to toe their line. They recently filed a false non-bailable FIR against me & several other independent journalists just for questioning the misuse of the state helicopter & public money on advts. Now they are harassing Rattan’s family to silence him. @ArvindKejriwal accuse others of gagging the PRESS while doing the same in Punjab. They have already controlled 90% of the Punjab media by carrot or stick. Only a few independent journalists & activists are left and this is what they are doing to them... Very strong and bold statement by the Solicitor General but our parents and society need to understand this too. Deeply disturbing visuals and reports are emerging from Khalsa College, Amritsar, where stray dogs are allegedly being caught and treated brutally. While public safety and stray animal management are important issues, cruelty against voiceless animals can never be justified. Recent statements about “eliminating” stray dogs should not become a license for inhumane actions. The so-called “Cockroach Janta Party” is being projected as some neutral Gen Z uprising, but the reality looks very different. The creator many are calling “independent” has reportedly worked with Kejriwal’s ecosystem earlier and was involved in meme-based political campaigns. This doesn’t look organic - it feels like a carefully planted narrative operation to influence young voters through sarcasm, memes and fake neutrality. And anyway, Punjab is already witnessing their “badlaav” - though at this point, it feels less like change and more like badla. That said, I still do not support generalised remarks targeting the youth. Questioning political narratives and questioning an entire generation are two completely different things.

@anuragdhanda What about this @anuragdhanda Instead of giving advice to other states, focus on Punjab where your own government is in power. Incidents of snatching and firing are happening daily - sometimes multiple cases in a single day. Law and order needs urgent attention on the ground.

• Punjab Govt’s Information & Public Relations Department recently issued a ₹6.32 crore tender to Mumbai-based White Rivers Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for publicity of government schemes, including the ₹1000-per-month scheme for women — a scheme which has still not been implemented on ground. • Soon after the controversy surfaced, Punjab Government transferred PR Secretary Ramvir and Director Akshita Gupta from the department. This raises serious questions — was the reshuffle done to suppress the growing controversy around publicity tenders and misuse of taxpayers’ money? • This is not the first time the AAP government has spent crores on advertising and PR companies while the actual delivery of schemes on ground remains questionable. • Punjab is already under massive debt, and many departments struggle with delayed salaries and financial stress, yet crores are being spent on image-building campaigns. Punjab needs governance and delivery, not expensive PR exercises funded by public money. #punjab

Inspired by the sanitation drive carried out collectively in Jaipur, I sincerely feel Amritsar also needs such strong and coordinated cleanliness campaigns on a regular basis. If the administration, Mayor, Municipal Corporation, sanitation workers, local organisations and citizens come together with intent, we can truly transform the city before the 450th foundation anniversary of Sri Amritsar Sahib in 2027. If there is any support or contribution needed from our side, we are fully willing to help. Extremely grateful to Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj Ji for taking out time to grace the screening of the documentary film “ Between Reverence and Reality” as the Chief Guest. The film is about deteriorating conditions of Amritsar and city being crumbling under piles of garbage. I don’t understand why the @AAPPunjab government is doing this or if it’s being done deliberately. The same policy that faced strong backlash earlier, and was seen as a threat to our land, is being pushed again. It was widely opposed by Punjab’s farmers due to concerns over land use and control, forcing the government to pause it once. Now, despite that resistance, work has reportedly resumed at a time when farmers are already struggling with procurement delays, crop damage, and rising costs. #punjab
