360 years. That is the collective Excel experience of my team of 30 people, in one room. I have personally used Excel for 20 years. Since the very beginning. We’ve spent decades "crushing it" when it comes to financial modeling. We knew every shortcut. Every nested formula. We thought we had reached the peak of efficiency. (They are better then me, just to admit) But I have something to tell you. The game just changed. In my opinion, we are witnessing the biggest innovation since Excel was first released. It’s not a new function or a Power BI update. It’s Claude. Specifically, Claude’s ability to build and manipulate Excel models. For 40 years, the "manual labor" was the tax we paid. Hardcoding formulas. Spending hours formatting cells. Manually linking sheets and building tables from scratch. That era is over. Claude can now handle the heavy lifting of building the structure, the logic, and the formatting in minutes. But here is the part that really surprised me: It actually understands accounting. It understands the relationship between a Balance Sheet and a Cash Flow statement. It understands how operating drivers flow into a P&L. We aren't replacing our expertise. We are finally liberating it. Instead of spending 80% of our time building the model, we spend 100% of our time analyzing the results. 27 days to go and today was a success. The challenge for the first time feels doable… 🏃‍♂️ I managed to do a 10km. That feels like my absolute limit and I just went super slow. I think I’ll pay for it a bit tomorrow. How I’m gonna do 4X that I’ve no idea 🐕 The hardest part of this all is balancing it with work and the dogs. I feel like the steps walking with the dogs are a bit useless for the challenge as they are slow and slow waiting for them to pee etc! 🛵 Running where I feed was a very bad idea. The dogs didn’t all recognize me at first but when they did they thought it was a big game and I had to chase them all home. Was thinking while running today about getting the community involved. Maybe some people could run 5km on the day or even there might be someone out there who wants to still join the race with me. Think there are still slots in Bangkok. Also I’ll get more info up tomorrow hopefully about what this is all for! For now a follow for @wearehappydoggo is the best thing you can do! Would mean the world as wanna try get that account to 200k by end of the marathon to help more dogs! I’m sure there’s tougher days ahead but feeling positive today 🙏🙏🙏

The shit show that is #airindia. My son is flying #AI119 today. We normally do not fly AirIndia but given this was a direct BOM-JFK took the chance. Looks like a double hopping via Sana'a and Mogadishu could have been faster. The flight was supposed to take off at 1:40 am. 1/n

@airindia why do you fool your passengers every time to come to airport some 3 hours ahead and then delay the flight by 2 hours. #AI119 my family and I have taken this 4 times over the last 3 months and every time it is the same. Has this flight ever taken off on time? Pits.

You want to give #airindia the benefit of doubt given national pride and all that, but if you consistently mess up like this, I can imagine why the perception is so bad. And I am flying the same route in a month - will mentally prepare myself for some other ordeal! 5/5.
