It was a real pleasure to host Prof. Dion Khodagholy at Houston Methodist as part of the Center for Neural System Restoration Seminar Series. His talk provided a fascinating glimpse into the latest advances from the Translational NeuroElectronics Lab at @UCIrvine, covering innovations in bioelectronic devices, large-scale systems neuroscience, and the translation of novel technologies into clinical use. From novel device architectures to understanding sleep, memory, and the neural basis of psychiatric disorders, his lab’s work continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible at the interface of engineering, neuroscience, and medicine.
