@tradermike1234 it’s crazy how the algorithm works
the moment I decide to go for base hits to survive these trump markets.
boom I start seeing 1:1 RR posts everywhere.
but my data validated this approach as well.
1:1 in & out
English

@tradermike1234 1:1 makes zero sense mathematically your still going to loose more on losses then winners due to fees. So u would technically need a 60% win rate just to break even.
It would be near impossible to recover from a loosing streak.

MONTHLY UPDATE - APRIL 2026
From hesitant trader to active executor.
Next: selective executor.
🟢 Net P&L: +$396
Win rate: 25%
Profit factor: 1.12
Avg. RR: 3.31
Wins: 19 (vs 13 in March)
Apex $50k evaluation account: $50,384 / $53,000 (12% to profit target, currently risking up to $100 per trade).
At first glance I improved:
✅ execution, market understanding, and confidence pressing the button.
But:
⏳ profit factor still low, equity curve volatile, and one large outlier trade heavily contributed.
Reflections
🗨️ There is an outlier trade and I would have been red without that trade. This means I'm slightly negative because of inconsistent filtering that's still developing. This is what needs work.
🗨️ The big win: shows me high skills potential, correct read, massive RR. But I know that this is harder to repeat and not systemised. This is a future edge.
🗨️ Win rate still too low. I focused on executing valid setups (then later only A+ setups). There were a lot of mistakes to gather insight. I learn a lot from these to refine my criteria and filtering. Towards the end of the month, I developed a conviction where I saw valid setups and analysed why they weren't high probability ones.
🗨️ Priority issue: Some process mistakes come from situations where I focus on one side while the other side is obvious. When I emotionally favour one side, I can discount the valid setups going for the other side. I will have to work on this.
🗨️ Execution Rate: 42-45% this is the percentage of times I executed on valid A+ setups in the last 2 weeks. This is decent. I would like to keep improving this by being more mechanical about my checklist for A+ setups and reducing the decision bias for favouring one side.
WHAT IMPROVED
⭐️ I increased the number of winning trades and days.
⭐️ I started pressing the button - less hesitation.
⭐️ I recently reduced low-quality trades: e.g., no clear DOL -> no trade.
⭐️ I introduced trade limits from last week: max 3-4 per session -> sharper focus, professional behaviour, fresh decision-making.
⭐️ I got out of drawdown.
NEXT STEPS
Can I remove the bad trades without removing the good ones?
✅ I would like to achieve profitability without an outlier trade.
✅ Can I achieve 80% of my trades are A+ setups sticking to ONE model for the next month.
✅ During session: trade one model only, after session: study ALL models I saw.

@BrownNectarFund @realnhlamu Bro doesn't understand the probability of him consecutively losing increases exponentially by dragging his tp to the str8 of hormuz
English

@realnhlamu Yet you don't understand how 1R with a 70% win rate is sustainable?

I met a trader who made $340,000 in prop firm payouts last year.
He trades 4 days a week. Maximum 1 trade per day. And he targets 1:1 risk-to-reward on every single trade.
When I first heard this I thought he was joking.
1:1 RR. That's it. No 1:3. No 1:5. No "letting winners run."
Just 1:1.
So I asked him to walk me through his numbers.
He had $2.4M in funded capital across 11 accounts. Average monthly return: 2.5-3%. Win rate: 71%.
At 1:1 RR with a 71% win rate - you're profitable. Obviously. But the real advantage wasn't the math.
It was the prop firm drawdown rules.
Most of his accounts had max drawdowns of 10%. With 1:1 trades risking 1% each - even a 6-7 loss streak didn’t ruin him.
While other traders were breaching accounts chasing 1:4 setups that didn't hit... he was calmly collecting payouts.
He showed me one month where he went 11 wins, 4 losses. Total gain: +7R. No breached accounts. No drama.
Then he showed me a trader he knew who ran the same capital - $2M+ funded - but targeted 1:4 RR. 60% of his accounts were breached within 3 months.
The high RR trader was resetting challenges constantly. Spending $3,000-4,000/month on new fees. Mentally exhausted.
The 1:1 trader was reinvesting payouts into more challenges and scaling.
This is what nobody on trading Twitter wants to hear:
You don't need big RR to make serious money. You need funded capital, a decent win rate, and the discipline to protect your accounts.
1:1 with 65%+ win rate SCALES.
High RR with 40% win rate BLEEDS.

@realnhlamu @andrew_nfx Higher win rate, higher (r)risk/size+higher probability+limited trades per day = money printer brrr

@astnkennedy SKILL ISSUE - that's because you're not optimizing for clarity
my go-to is 3-4 pornhub tabs + a weed cigarrette on one hand + phone with tiktok on the other hand + some heavy trap music in the background
recommend taking 300mg of caffeine beforehand so you never get distracted

I'm 22 years old and Claude Code is deteriorating my brain.
Every single day for the last 6 months I've had 6 to 8 Claude Code terminals open, waiting for a response just so I can hit 'enter' 75% of the time. And it's doing something to me.
In convos with a couple of friends, it's been a point that's been brought up pretty frequently.
None of us feel as sharp as we used to.
I don't know if it's just us, or others in their 20s are feeling the same thing, but it's something I've been thinking about a lot.
P.S. I know this is a problem with my reliability/usage of it, not Claude Code itself, but the effects are real nonetheless

@Adar_0x @MarioNawfal If it was stolen he’d be doing his job. Please be stolen is basically him wanting a big bust. I’d do the same thing

First private villa at 23 ❤️ This only happened because I didn’t give up. Prop firms played a big role in the journey. Grateful to God this is just the beginning.

Actress Mara Wilson reveals that at 12 years old, she searched her name online and found fake child sexual abuse material made of her on a forum:
“Most of the pictures of me out in the public eye were of me from ages 5 to 9... I could not stop crying... It may have been one of the factors that led me to not want to act anymore!”

@unusual_whales I see a lot of sycophantic room temp IQs in the comments below that will be shocked, *shocked* as their way of life melts down in the coming months and they are completely surprised by it all.

Trump: "They came to us and they said, 'We will agree to open the Strait.' And all my people were happy, except me. I said, 'Wait a minute, if we open the Strait, that means they're gonna make $500 million a day.' I don't want them to make $500 million a day until they settle this thing. So I'm the one who kept it closed."

Urijah Faber unexpectedly thanks Arman Tsarukyan after wild spill into the stands at RAF08 😅
“He wanted to risk both of our livelihoods for some clicks there. He knew what he was doing.
I literally landed on the cement. I think it helped my back. My back was hurt two weeks ago, and I wasn’t able to do much training. I think he realigned it there… so thank you, Arman, again for the help.”
