Here is the full LIV Q-school field. All of them will be suspended a minimum of a year once they hit a shot. I understand PGA Members getting suspended if they played. But for Americas Tour players or even worse non-members being suspended is petty, ridiculous, and in talking with lawyers, probably illegal. These are the very players that the pga tour is cutting out of their system. And then on the back end blocking them from earning a place to play. And to be clear, this is being suspended for a 2 in 90 chance of playing on LIV, a large portion of these guys will be suspended for playing 18 holes, missing, and not being able to play anywhere pga tour related for a year. I’d even be fine with a suspension if they got a LIV spot. But to prevent them from having a chance?? Sadly, the Tour knows no one will challenge them in court. A lawyer reached out to me saying he and his partner would do it for free except he can’t find a player willing to put their name on the challenge. I spoke with numerous players who didn’t play or turned down an invite because of the suspension. These guys aren’t some LIV diehards, nor do they hate the tour, the opposite in fact, they just want a place to play. The Tour and its board should be embarrassed that while cutting these very players from the tour they prevent them from even having a chance to earn a living. Rant Over, Merry Christmas.

It’s a bummer Hovland is hurt and can’t play but it should be an automatic point to the other team. Getting a half point is crazy!
