For years people were told that Rahul Gandhi was disconnected from ordinary Indians. But despite nonstop propaganda and ridicule he kept doing the same thing. He kept listening to people. He kept standing with them. He kept raising real issues. He cared when nobody noticed. He still cares now. He stood with people earlier. He still stands with them now. He stayed connected to the ground earlier too. He never changed himself for headlines PR or image building. Rahul Gandhi did not suddenly become a better leader. People are finally seeing the honesty empathy and leadership that were always there. This man was always genuine.

@ANI What is his problem with indian companies and entrepreneurs becoming big internationally. He didn't say the same thing for tata's tie-up for chip manufacturing. Why? Because they donate to Congress? His statements against India are becoming more and more ridiculous.

Ufff!!! It's almost like he feels that if he repeats itself often enough it will happen - like he's wishing it upon the country he is #LOP of. @ANI Adani and Ambani are most misused words after secularism. These are being used so casually by Pappu pager that he forgot that it is harming the country by demotivating the entrepreneurship and wealth builders. So sad.

The reason why Modi hates Indira Gandhi Ji is that he can never match her aura. She was fearless in answering questions to press be it Indian or foreign media. But, Modi has shamed India by skipping question in Norway and MEA secretary further damaged the image of India.

@sagarikaghose @narendramodi He is a bit overdoing it but I would judge him by the results he has achieved in enhancing India’s interests and image not be by comparing with more articulate statements by Nehru or others in the past. You just stop wearing colored lenses.

The PR, photos and videos emerging from @narendramodi’s foreign tours are increasingly ill-conceived, embarrassing and verging on the fraudulent and bogus. The carefully choreographed imagery feels like badly staged cinema and the avoidance of press interaction and unscripted questions are comical. This does a grave disservice to India’s proud democratic traditions where prime ministers before Modi were accessible, informed, articulate and dignified in the public arena. If Modi is so fearful of the global press and so unwilling to speak without a pre-approved script, perhaps he should avoid visiting democracies where institutions like a free media still function. Modi should follow his own advice and Work From Home. India’s tragic democratic decline is starkly exposed.
