If I recently spent $4.25B to buy a sports team, my first actions would not be to alienate my new team's fanbase for no good reason/with no legitimate justification!

I really cannot say enough about Casey and the work he’s done. He has an incredible way as a team reporter of asking important questions that fans want to know in a way that was always fair to his subjects. It’s quite honestly his super power. Will miss him and his kicks around the PF more than I can say.

@JCigan How he only spends money on u of o… and in really dumb ways that alienate a lot of people. I don’t think he would have been better in any way. He might have just be worse in different ways. I’m sure he would have fired a lot of staff and replaced them with Nike loyalists.

@dloitz I’m not pretending Phil Knight is a highly ethical multi-billionaire so much as speculating, based on available evidence, that he spends lavishly on his chosen sports teams and understands how pro sports work

Especially on the business side, the only excuse for layoffs at that magnitude is savings. You're not bettering the team by axing 70 people, including a prominent long-term public-facing link between team and fanbase. You can't sell that in any way but billionaires saving cash.

Really can’t express how big of a loss it is to all Blazers fans to lose @CHold. One of the only through lines from the B-Roy years to now. To lose that is to lose a piece of the franchise. His coverage, insight and humor will be missed greatly.

my best recommendation entering #TheMandalorianAndGrogu is to watch it with a loved one, family, or a friend if you can. This film is the perfect family movie.

Timberwolves cut about 100 people after the sale to A-Rod and Marc Lore was finalized. I was hopeful that similar cuts wouldn’t happen here but they have. Thinking about all the great people who have contributed to the organization who have lost their jobs today.

Where do I begin with #TheMandalorianAndGrogu? One of the most insane cinema experiences in recent memory. George Lucas esque. People will love it, people may loath it. I'm in the former and cannot wait for Round 2!

THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU is even better the second time around. It made us feel like kids experiencing Star Wars for the first time again. So much fun. Epic. Heartwarming. Hilarious. @TSoS_ Wow. What a take. It looks great but not amazing. Even though the show was filmed at movie quality, you expect… who knows what. Just ENJOY it for godsake

On Disney+ you can now find a special look at #TheMandalorianAndGrogu which shows 4 minutes of the film's AT-AT sequence. The action here is actually quite good, as are the visual effects for Zeb, but this film really just looks like another weekly adventure episode of the series. With just 2 weeks until release, I think any hopes of seeing anything more substantial in the marketing are in vain. Aside from promising to deliver more of the same , especially the cute Grogu moments, there seems to be no real hook for general audiences, who are still blissfully unaware this movie is happening in the first place. Keeping your expectations in check is a prerequisite for Star Wars these days, so what I'm hoping for is a solid, fun and inconsequential adventure akin to the first Season of the series. I really hope they can at least deliver that; a movie akin to Solo that works as a fun summer-blockbuster quest.

We just watched the first 25 minutes of THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU in IMAX and are blown away by what we saw. Cinematic, epic scale that demands to be seen on the big screen. Ludwig Göransson’s music gave us goosebumps. Had smiles on our faces the entire time watching the footage.
