Jesus riding on a donkey on Palm Sunday is a fulfillment of prophecy, and a reframing of power.
This story places before us two options:
1. Will we live according to the world's definition of power or...
2. Will we live according to Jesus' demonstration of power?

76% of voucher applications from families already in private schools.
Less than 1% of public school families have applied.
@GregAbbott_TX told us vouchers save poor kids from failed schools.
He lied.
Vouchers subsidize rich kids in private schools.

BREAKING: “You raised a kid that slit your throat” — Steve Bannon goads MAGA crowd to BOO Rob Reiner as Turning Point USA reaches a new moral low.
If you ever wondered how far the MAGA movement would sink, Friday night at Turning Point USA’s AmFest gave a chilling answer.
As news of the killing of legendary filmmaker Rob Reiner hung heavy in the air, a packed crowd didn’t respond with sympathy, reflection, or even silence. Instead, they jeered and booed.
Yes, booed.
Onstage, MAGA firebrand Steve Bannon acknowledged that Reiner’s death was “obviously a tragedy,” but that moment of decency lasted about half a breath. When Bannon referenced Democratic strategist James Carville praising Reiner’s cultural impact, the crowd erupted in jeers.
But it gets even worse. What followed was uglier still.
Bannon sneered that Reiner made “a handful of crappy movies,” then absurdly elevated conservative activist Charlie Kirk as the true cultural savior of America. From there, the rhetoric spiraled into something far darker — invoking assassination, betrayal, and violent imagery aimed at a man who had just been killed.
“Dude, you raised a kid that slit your throat,” Bannon told the cheering crowd.
This wasn’t political disagreement. It wasn’t satire. It wasn’t commentary.
It was public cruelty, aimed at a dead man, delivered to applause.
Even Bannon seemed to sense the indecency, repeatedly insisting he was being “brutally frank,” as if naming his own callousness somehow excused it. He capped the tirade by declaring that Democrats who honored Reiner were “demonic.”
Let’s be clear: Rob Reiner was a towering figure in American culture, responsible for films and shows that shaped generations. You don’t have to agree with his politics to recognize his humanity — or to understand that mocking someone after their death is a moral line most people don’t cross.
But MAGA crossed it — gleefully.
This moment wasn’t about Reiner. It was about power, resentment, and a movement so consumed by grievance that even death isn’t sacred anymore. Where empathy once lived, there is now applause for degradation. Where decency should exist, there is only rage.
Booing the dead doesn’t make you strong. It doesn’t make you brave. It just tells the rest of us exactly who you’ve become.
And now, MAGA has shown America something truly ugly: the darkest, most despicable reaches of their psyches — without shame, and without apology.
Please like and share to spread their shame!

The overt racism and bigotry of this President is appalling. But I find it even more appalling that there are still some Christians who defend him.
You cannot love Jesus without loving all of God’s children. The Bible doesn’t say “God so loved America” but that “God so loved the world.” The whole world.
Calling entire groups of people sh*tholes — and calling human beings made in the image of God “trash”, “garbage”, and “animals” is an insult to God.
Follow Jesus not Trump.

The world has seen enough anger. Enough division.
Dr. Perkins reminds us — the real revolution isn’t in revenge or power.
It’s in the radical act of love.
Love that forgives.
Love that rebuilds.
Love that lasts.

@ryanburge I’m curious to see how much Biden’s health and the changing of candidates midstream effected their voting. Trump looked stable compared to the other side.

America hasn’t been perfect. It’s made grave mistakes. But there is no country that has ever done more for improving the world. It breaks my heart how unappreciative Americans across the ideological spectrum are of that. Much of the left rejects we’ve ever been good for the world, much of the right wants to stop being good for the world. Shame on all of them.
