So my wife, a nurse ordered from @JustEatUK today for her a few nurses and doctors on her ward. order was never delivered and @JustEatUK are refusing a refund as its their 'policy'. Absolutely disgusting, no one should ever use them. #scam

@dredpiraterobin @kylegordon @SamuelConibear @BBCPanorama They did the same in a job I worked at in 2010, I said it was not fair if someone had an illness or a woman needed a sanitary break. I was called sexist. They thought I was complaining about women needing more breaks than men on occasion smh.

My friend had his reasonable adjustments removed today due to #Panorama and their absurdly dangerous #ADHD study by a journalist. He faces a disciplinary next week as they no longer recognise his diagnosis. Well done #BBC, I now also pay my TV Licence to discriminate.

@ogholliecopter @AroGroupLtd @SENDinfoBucks @acasorguk @EHRC Ideally, we just need journalists at the BBC to help the public and investigate why the government is severely underfunding the NHS, There is no bias in stating factual information but the BBC won't say a word against our government.

@dlystyr @keewa I am a nurse, I am highly educated and I very much understand the scientific process. This has skilled me to be able to understand that a TV programme shown at 10.30pm on Monday did not lead to policy change at 9am on Tuesday morning.

@Putneygirl09 @keewa This is a very small company we are talking about, not an enterprise that needs frameworks to operate. The CEO already had issues with the RA, It gave the CEO ammo though. Companies do not always follow policy, What would be the point in the tribunal service if they did?

@Putneygirl09 @keewa You mention you are a Nurse which means Degree educated. Do you not understand rigor, evidence-based practice, and ethics in research? It's not exactly health promotion if it harms thousands, and you agree? which the NMC code states Nurses should adhere to also.

Well, I can't see the article on the BBC News frontpage anymore, now promoting mental wellbeing and an article about how 17% of the population are struggling financially due to neurodivergence.

@kylegordon @SamuelConibear @BBCPanorama You would actually be surprised how many employers require this, I have previously worked at one and so has my wife. It's usually managers who have trust issues who implement this kind of policy. I once spoke to ACAS about it and its not illegal because they are not stopping you

@ogholliecopter @SENDinfoBucks @acasorguk @EHRC He is on a shared care agreement, GP is fully aware of what is going on with his private care. But this article seems to have played into the hands of the CEO and given him a reason to not recognise the diagnosis as the diagnosis letter is from a private consultant not the GP.

@dlystyr @SENDinfoBucks @acasorguk @EHRC If he’s had a diagnosis even from a private clinic he should have had a letter sent to his GP unless he still receives care from the private provider. I haven’t worked in HR for a few years but I’m also pretty sure to have the adjustments made they would have seen proof of dx

@DilleyAndrew @benpaechter @Putneygirl09 I am sure it's not just this, from what I have previously been told the CEO has some prejudice, but this article is for sure the straw that broke the camel's back.

@BLOODYBRADMUSIC He is not in a union, I have advised him to join one again even just for the advice and if he does end up losing his job, they can advise him regarding any tribunal proceedings.

@SamuelConibear @BBCPanorama He works as a Lead IT Engineer, the only person in the role at the company as they have a very small team. His only reasonable adjustments are to not be required to sign out to go to the toilet as he drinks a lot and to wear headphones when working on a single task to help focus.

@dlystyr This seems incredible. I'm totally behind the criticism of @BBCPanorama. But are you able to give some details on this? Without naming names obviously. For example, what were the reasonable adjustments and what is the profession?

@JoAdams89030130 @SENDinfoBucks @acasorguk @EHRC No, but they could reiterate with evidence from his consultant and GP what reasonable adjustments are standard in these cases and offer suggestions and an unbiased view without them just taking them away.

@benpaechter @Putneygirl09 Another article had been online for days and other news outlets were speaking about it. He works for a small company of around 20 where the CEO is also HR. He does not like that my friend uses headphones in the office. This is not a huge company that follow protocol to the letter

@dtbraven He works for a small company of about 20 people, the CEO is his line manager and HR department. Thinks ADHD does not exist so any excuse to stop him from using headphones. CEO even makes staff sign out to go to the toilet. I told my mate to call ACAS today.

@dlystyr The duty to provide reasonable adjustments is based on disability, not diagnosis. Your friend should hopefully get a nice big payout soon as this sounds like a very easy case of willful victimisation by what sounds like a very stupid bastard of an employer.
