However in football, playing 6A and 7A schools weekly when your 5A does nothing for you. Freeport and Boylan are the closest in size to Sycamore. The move to the NIC makes more sense if you’re a Barb

@dmc24 @Matt_Rodewald @rileylodico Well, they're frequently in 3A regionals with both Belvideres, Freeport and Boylan off the top of my head. So that's 40% of the conference right there. Plus they the other a bit in many sports - Hononegah and Harlem especially

So it's time to let DeKalb and Sycamore into the NIC 10, right?

@DDCEddieCarifio @Matt_Rodewald @rileylodico Can you list the enrollment sizes in the NIC? Why would Sycamore want to compete on a weekly basis playing 7A and 8A schools? What is the upside? Let’s be honest, if DeKalb gave a shit about Sycamore they would have never left the NI Big 12 and went their separate way.

I've read a couple books written by Tony & admire him so much. He was an amazing coach, a great broadcaster, & a warrior for Christ. Whatever the next season brings I'll be rooting for Tony always.
