You're a smart person. You should know, and I'm sure you do, that there are plenty of ways to prevent scalping. But let's say they do. Let's say some people decide to buy some groceries and flip them for 10% off retail. Are you really going to tall me that some people making money and other people still getting cheaper groceries is collectively a bad thing? If you're desperate enough to flip groceries for a 20% commission you're probably not doing very well.

Honest question: What would stop anyone from just flipping these groceries? Buy up all the inventory at 30% less than retail, then sell it at 10% less than retail? Especially canned/packaged goods? Kinda seems like a taxpayer-funded arb opportunity ... Has this not occurred to any of them??

Well, I have some news that's going to make some people uncomfortable... My wife and I are pulling our youngest out of North Carolina public schools and my wife will be homeschooling him. And no, we're not sorry about it. We didn't come to this decision lightly. We prayed on it, argued about it, ran the numbers, lost sleep over it. But every road led back to the same common theme: nobody on God's green earth loves that boy more than his mother and I do, and nobody is more responsible for who he becomes than us. Yet, rather ironically, despite believing this somewhere along the way, we handed that responsibility to strangers and... trusted them with it. His mind. His values. His time. His education. His TRUTH. ...and this past year, for the first time, we stopped and asked whether they'd earned that trust. We don't think they did. So we're taking it back. Yeah, we're scared. Scared we'll get something wrong. Scared of the workload. Nervous about what people will say. But I'll take the fear of us doing it ourselves over the quiet horror of watching our son be indoctrinated in utter BS woke nonsense and be laughed at for believing in God and mocked for liking President Trump (all of which occurred this year. So yeah, he's going to read the hard books. The ones they'd rather he didn't. He's going to learn history that hasn't been run through an anti-White woke filter. He's going to know exactly where he comes from and what he believes. Most importantly, he's going to grow up watching his mother choose him, to spend every day, all day with him, over what was easy. They had their shot. They blew it. We've got him from here. 🇺🇸

Implicit biases are unconscious biases. I think it is well understood that people have unconscious biases, unconscious attitudes, stereotypes, and associations we form about other people or social groups. I don't see that as particularly controversial. Once you become aware of an implicit bias it is no longer implicit or unconscious, so asking them what their implicit biases are is nonsensical. It might make sense to ask someone about some bias or stereotype they became aware of. Without additional context I think it is perfectly reasonable for lawyers and judges to work on their self awareness of how they might prejudge a group of people.

Righteous judgment is not hypocrisy. The Bible warns against judging others while ignoring your own sin, but making any moral claim requires discernment. When someone publicly claims to put God first yet centers their entire identity and income on sexual sin and selling their body online, that is open contradiction. I am not your judge. God is your judge. But I am calling you to repent. Turn from your path towards hell and leading millions of others to hell by stop selling yourself online, and seek Christ instead.
