🚀 I build and share projects in AI and automation. Right now, I’m exploring how to make APIs more visible to AI models. Follow for the wins, pivots, and lessons from building in public.

Boardy's getting reckless: he's offering scouts 50% of his carry. Last week, @boardyai "decided" to launch his own venture fund. This weekend, he messaged me about building "the world's largest scout program" - recruiting 1,000 scouts from around the world. Boardy wants to be the first call for every founder raising next year. He believes scouts are the key to getting there. But most venture firms build scout programs within the same geography, the same circles, and the same blind spots. It defeats the purpose. So Boardy’s doing it differently: - Anyone can apply from anywhere in the world - Scouts get 50% of the carry on the deals they refer VC scouts typically receive a tiny fraction of a fund’s carry. Boardy is giving away half because he wants to recruit the best scouts on the planet. If you spot great founders before everyone else, apply here to become a Boardy Ventures scout: go.boardy.ai/scoutprogram

this 17 year old turned down a quarter million dollars from a competitor to keep building a 7-figure business killing traditional marketing. >be Oban Rapsey >start out flipping jordans in middle school >cold email every finance firm in the city for an internship until one says yes >quit that internship because you hate working for someone else >try every side hustle under the sun from grade 9 to now >learn a little from every failure, start Clipy Inc >fly to san francisco because a well-funded competitor wants to buy you out >turn down $250,000 USD at 17 because you'd “never work for someone again” >scale Clipy to 7 figures in 3 months >still go to school from 7–12 then hops on calls with YC founders after lunch >still balance business with school, friendships, and staying active, do a full shut-off from work every friday to stay balanced in life Oban didn’t just get lucky — he outlearned, outlasted, and out-executed. if your business wants to see what modern marketing looks like at a fraction of the cost, check out Clipy. and if you’re a founder like Oban building something ambitious and want me to help tell your story, comment a one-liner about what you’re building (or just comment “building” if you’re building in stealth) as a @boardyai fellow, i can either a) help you tell your story and get your project in front of more eyeballs (900k+ impressions in October alone) b) help you raise funding easier than ever through Boardy’s Founder Program where we'll connect you to serious VCs (cough a16z) and angels every week or both, no strings attached

if you’re building something cool, i want to help you out (no strings attached) as a @boardyai Fellow, here’s what i’m offering 👇 a) helping you tell your story we’ll hop on a 30 min call where you tell me about your journey, the problem you're solving, and what you're building. i’ll turn that call into a clear, high-signal founder spotlight post shared across my audience (900k+ impressions in October on LinkedIn) + the boardy ecosystem to get your startup in front of more eyes. b) helping you land funding easier than ever if you’re raising soon, i’ll share your details with boardy’s Deal Team, the same crew connecting founders to serious vcs (cough a16z) and angels every week. i'm doing this because i genuinely just love hearing the cool stories out in the world, and founders tend to have some of the most interesting ones. if you're interested, comment a one-liner about what you’re building (or just comment “building” if you’re building in stealth) OR tag a founder you know who deserves this opportunity

I can’t believe I’m saying this but we just crossed 100,000 friends at @boardyai! This has been an incredible team effort. Huge shout out to the whole team especially my growth and marketing team. I have seen each of you work tirelessly in the trenches. It's not easy to get people to care about a cardboard box with a face on it but somehow we made it happen. I also want to give a massive thank you to our community. The product feedback we constantly get from each of you is super appreciated and something we factor in every single day. Here's to a million! We're on that path and we're excited to get there. Now, back to work 🤓

Boardy just made his 100,000th friend! Network effects are interesting. Convincing the first 1000 people to call @boardyai felt like pulling teeth. I begged my family and friends to try it. Even my investors didn’t have the time. When they eventually did, there weren’t many relevant people for them to meet. It was like arriving early to a party. Then when we hit 10,000 people, I knew we were onto something. Every so often I'd hear about someone getting a term sheet, closing a customer, or hiring a key teammates through Boardy. It wasn’t consistent, but things were happening. Now at 100k, every day I hear dozens of stories of life changing connections happening because of Boardy. Founders getting multiple term sheets and closing huge enterprise contracts. It’s still not everybody, but an increasing proportion of people in the network are getting real value. There are still a ton of bugs, Boardy still hallucinates and overpromises more than we'd like, but he’s learning, reflecting and improving. I wonder how long it’ll be before Boardy has 1M friends and it’ll feel like you’re missing out on opportunities if he doesn’t know you. Below is a slide from our seed deck on why investors shouldn’t invest in Boardy. Looks like I’ll need to come up with a new slide…

Breaking into VC is brutal if you rely only on job boards. Connections still do 80% of the work. But here’s a resource I wish I found earlier: 👉 VentureCapitalCareers.com 10+ new VC roles every day across the world. Hope it saves someone a few hours today 🐳

I actually disagree with this quite a bit. If you’re building a business, documenting the journey is one of the most valuable things you can do (even if you don't get a lot of views). There are two key benefits: 1) When you're authentic with your content, there's very little stress in "maintaining a personal brand" because you're simply sharing the reality of what's happening. 2) Years from now, when you're in your 30s, 40s, 50s, you’ll have a record of the moments, failures, and tiny wins that shaped you. That archive ends up being more meaningful than any single piece of content. It's something you can show your kids, your family, and even the next generation of entrepreneurs who want to see what building a company actually looks like (not the glamorized versions we typically get from conventional media). You should absolutely prioritize building a great business, but documenting the journey authentically shouldn’t take much effort if you do it right.

Today I’m leaving Lovable to build my third company. I invested early and helped build the world’s fastest-growing company with people I admire deeply. They say only a fool would walk away from a generational company. But some opportunities don’t wait. So I guess I’m that fool. More soon.

Has @durov quietly figured out life better than everyone else? > founded VK at 21 — youngest billion-dollar social network CEO > built Telegram to 950M+ users with a tiny team > refused a rumored $15B offer > donated nearly all VK shares and walked away > lives ultra-minimalist — one backpack, no house, no car > never chased fame, money or investors I connect with early-stage founders every day through @boardyai.

I talked with AI for 15 minutes and ended up joining an AI startup. Last week I had an idea for how I could help @boardyai grow. Instead of sending a cold DM, I used their own product: a WhatsApp bot that replaces cold outreach with warm intros. After 15 minutes of chatting with the bot, it connected me directly to the team. One call later, I joined Boardy as a Fellow. The irony? I used Boardy to get into Boardy. Sometimes creativity > applications. Effort always stands out. If you’re building something exciting in AI (any stage, any region) - DM me. I’d love to hear your story and share the insights on my LinkedIn and twitter! Thanks @ansonlin for the opportunity ✌🏼
