There is minimal benefit increase from 400 to 600mg. After 600mg there's essentially no increased benefit.
And yes Ibuprofen has, in studies, out performed opioids for dental pain.
Getting high and not caring about the pain, is different than true pain relief.

@jaffo_studios Pro-tip from someone that had horrible teeth and went through almost $10k in dental restoration overseas... 2 Tablets of Excedrin & 400mg of Ibuprofen works better for tooth pain than even 800 or 1000mg of Ibuprofen on its own.
