𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐜𝐮𝐦-𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐥𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟒 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 The final day of the workshop unfolded with an atmosphere of energy, reflection, and celebration. Dr Atul Dubey from the Department of Education in Social Sciences (DESS), NIE, NCERT, led a dynamic and interactive session on Physical Education that truly resonated with the participants. Through engaging discussions and thoughtfully designed activities, he beautifully highlighted the significance of holistic development in the preparatory stage. The group activities conducted during the session witnessed enthusiastic participation from all KRPs, fostering collaboration, creativity, and shared learning. The post-lunch session became a space for collective reflection as KRPs from six states presented their insights and experiences from the four-day orientation programme. Their reflections echoed a common sentiment of growth, inspiration, and renewed commitment towards strengthening classroom practices and understanding the newly developed textbooks.

Visited a Santhal tribal home on 15 Nov 2025 with a small group of students. They learned about the Santhal community’s culture, language, and lifestyle. A meaningful experience that deepened their understanding and respect for tribal heritage.

A Community Bhoj was held on 13 November 2025 as part of Janjatiya Gaurav Pakhwada, with 69 students and 3 teachers participating. Students brought a variety of traditional tribal dishes and learned the value of healthy, locally made food.

A tribal dance activity on Kangilu Nalike was organised on 12th November 2025 as part of Janjatiya Gaurav Pakhawara 2025. Kangilu Nalike is a vibrant folk dance of the Udupi and Dakshina Kannada regions, known for its lively steps, colourful costumes and rhythmic drum beats.

As part of Janjatiya Gaurav Pakhwada 2025 (1st–15th Nov), PMSDS,RIE Mysuru organized a Classroom Discussion for Class 11B and an Essay Writing Activity for Class 9A on Tribal Culture and Freedom Struggle. Students highlighted Birsa Munda and other tribal heroes.

In connection with Janjatiya Gaurav Pakhwada (1st–15th November 2025), PMSDS,RIE Mysuru organized an engaging Quiz Session for Class 9B on 6th November 2025. The session was based on the theme “Unsung Tribal Heroes of the Freedom Struggle, Tribal Art, and Culture.”
