I can’t be the only one skipping Arne Slot interviews…. I just don’t want to get angry. I have to protect my peace.

@Jack_LFC_1892 @SmokinFrazier The players we signed are young but experienced. Sunderland signed raw talent mostly. If you're talking starters, the experienced ones are Aldarete, Xhaka, Mukiele and Reinildo. The rest are 25 and below Diarra-21, Sadiki-20, Brobbey-23, Talbi-20, Roefs-22, Isidor-24, Adingra-23

@dmumbere @SmokinFrazier Yea mate and Man City, QPR, Fulham, Forest, Leeds and Chelsea don’t Sunderland are the only outlier really, they’ve been incredible, but they signed mostly experienced players at their peak, not 22 year olds and younger like we did

You try to explain this to anyone who is in the Slot out crew and they just can’t wrap their head around this is all FSG’s doing 😂 “It’s all the managers fault, he’s spent so much, fucking sack him” It’s an overhaul at first team and at u21 level. We only just getting started

@Jack_LFC_1892 Critics overlook that it takes time for players to get used to each other too. That's why I don't think there should be a rush to get rid of Robertson, Allison etc, but it's not like a team can sign 6/7 new players and it work seamlessly from day one. Cohesion takes time.

@GabonYNWA @PartedBeard Fact remains that he has had 5 good months in the last 4 (even 5) years of his career. Looks like an arnomally to me

@PartedBeard if we assume you're right then this conversation doesn't even make any sense, you would bring some guy from 'ligue 1' like camara and ignore gravenberch last season when not overused and physically tired was 3x the player OOP
