Today, we celebrated 90 years of FCL fuelling Western Canada, creating good jobs, and reinvesting in the communities we call home.
Over the past 90 years, the Co-op Refinery Complex has grown and evolved to become a cornerstone of our province’s oil industry, fuelling prosperity for Western Canada.
Congratulations on this incredible milestone. We look forward to continuing to work with FCL to grow our economy for years to come.

@PremierScottMoe So, you walked back the US tariffs and did not really announce that? I have words for you that I cannot say in public. Nor in private. You just sold us out to Trump. Zero ethics. 👎🏻

WILDFIRE UPDATE - JUNE 11, 2025
It’s been 14 days since we declared a Provincial State of Emergency, and here’s where we stand:
Fires Still Active.
The weekend rain helped slow some fires in the north. Some communities are close to heading home.
That’s welcome news, but there is still a lot of work ahead.
NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:
I’ve met with evacuees and community leaders. We’ve heard your concerns and we’re acting quickly.
That’s why today, we’re announcing $500 in additional financial support for residents in communities affected by the wildfires.
Funds will be delivered to communities in the coming days.
Local leaders will share how and when residents can collect.
This support is in addition to the $15M provided through the Canadian Red Cross to support evacuees and the doubling of financial assistance for expenses.
What’s next:
We’re focused on recovery and long-term support:
Social & mental health services. Teams of professionals have been deployed but please reach out to Healthline 811 as well.
Housing assistance.
Rebuilding community infrastructure.
We will continue to work closely with municipalities, Indigenous leadership, and partners to support every person, family, and community impacted.
Thank you to all the fire crews, mental health professionals, organizers, community leaders and everyday heroes for fighting fires and supporting Saskatchewan people in need.
I’ve spoken to many of you, and your efforts are nothing short of incredible.
