Yesterday in a BBC interview, a rattled Swinney said “They’re a Labour Government up to its neck in scandal”. All said without a trace of irony.

As someone who has been through and passed Developed Vetting, I can assure you that it is an incredibly rigorous (and expensive) process. The professionals involved in our vetting work to the highest standards. Rightly so. It is absolutely fundamental to our national security. Overrule or ignore it because of cronyism and the whole system comes crashing down.

Remember when Scots were proud, brave and industrious and now a third of us are slevering bootlickers who vote SNP year after year like servile cabbages?

What’s the point of security vetting if failing doesn’t stop you getting the job? If it isn’t disqualifying, it’s not security. Why would an ally trust us with secrets now?

There's an entire industry of lawyers and charities who are making a fortune by helping people break into our country, and cheat our immigration system. These lawyers are aiding criminal behaviour. They must be struck off and prosecuted. Kemi is absolutely right.
