student and I should just quit and not finish my degree. She thinks shes better then me in every way and yes, its been hard not being a picture perfect daughter for her. But she has not loved me like a mother would in a long while and were better off strangers then anything.

The reason my mother and I have a strained relationship is she decided one day after I started my degree that SHE was going to be a teacher too after 20+ years of being a stay at home mom and bragged about passing classes faster then me. She then one day told me I was a lazy 🧵
